37th Annual Irish Celebration
The Irish Music & Dance Association is hosting the 37th Annual Irish Celebration on Saturday, March 17th from 10am-5pm. The event honors Irish heritage- from music and dance to vendors and cuisine. There are children’s crafts and entertainers, an Irish Tea Room, traditional Irish dancers, Celtic musicians, Irish merchants, artists, food and of course, beer! With tickets for adults priced at $7 and $5 for kids and seniors, you can’t go wrong with this family friendly event. There truly is something for everyone.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
One of the oldest St. Patty’s Day traditions in St. Paul is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This year will be the 52nd year that the parade will march down 5th street and through Rice Park celebrating Irish heritage. Find a spot to watch all the action unfold- it all kicks off at noon on March 17th!
Start your St. Patrick’s Day celebration a week early with LuckyPalooza, one of the biggest St. Patty’s Day Celebrations in the country. Hosted in downtown St. Paul on March 10th, the event is a two-block street party, with food, drinks, music, and entertainment from 2pm-11pm. The event spills into the local bars until their usual closing time. Grab some friends and head downtown on the metro which is offering free rides on buses and light rail from 1pm-1am.
